Our leather and bogolan bags are the result of a collaboration with artisans from Bamako. These artisans have been known for years for their know-how. Bamako’s craftsmanship is a mythical place known to Malians and many tourists.

This bi-material bag is made of goat/sheep leather and bogolan fabric (indigo), bogolan is one of the traditional fabrics of the sub-region. It is a thick fabric spun and woven on the spot, then dyed in different colors.
The patterns on the fabric are specific to each ethnic group.
